Rivera Primo Pro Clutch 1056-0022
« on: September 12, 2011, 08:43:46 PM »

Looking for some advice.
I have my outer primary cover off and I have this Rivera Primo Pro Clutch that I was going to put on.
Looks like the bolt for the SE compensator comes out and then the whole clutch needs to come out so I can press out the original hub and then press in a new bearing and the Primo hub.
What is the simple way to get the clutch loose.  Do the 5 bolts release the clutch or is that just going to let the clutch plates loose?
Any cautions of what to do or NOT do when removing the hydraulic clutch?
And last does anybody have a substitute for the tool to stick between the comp sprockets and clutch sprockets to loosen and torque the bolts on the comp and clutch?

I'll look for the thread I did on here a few years ago.

Thanks for all the help!
Thanks to Jim at Metal Dragon too!
The Harley tech that did my install said he called around and ended up not shortening the rod at all.
I rode it home and it works beautiful...should I be looking for something bad because he did not shorten it?

Worked great in my bike and I never had to shorten the rod on my 2007.
