Awesome POST being that I am facing the same daunting situation.  I recently purchased a 2011 CVO Ultra (Stock).  I live in Arizona where it is hotter than hell this time of the year.  I cannot ride the bike with the CAT!!  The heat is nearly unbearable off the cat up my right leg.  I am almost certainly going with the Fulsac X-Pipe (Scrap the Cat), but I am torn between the Fulsac recore 2.0 and the Reinhart 4" slip ons to complement the xpipe.  I guess what it comes down to is CAN YOU STILL ENJOY THE RADIO with the Reinhart 4" and the xpipe?  Any input would be greatly appreciated as this is a costly upgrade.
I have a 2012 CVO street glide and I put the V&H x-pipe with the 4 inch Rinehart's and not only does it look great but it sounds freaking awesome!  Does not drown out my radio but I caution you, my new ride has the 400 amp and 10 speakers.  Friends that ride behind me love the sound of the pipes and say they are not obnoxious.  This combo is well worth the money.
