If you follow the directions there is NO difference other than the MT8 versions allow for you to adjust for various camshafts and the EGR effect to the cylinders. Some people just have a hard time following directions. Once install we lock the ECM so no one can reprogram over your custom calibration, so anything that involves programming cannot be done by anything other than the TTS Unit. To get around this we have in the software that you put it back to stock and it unlocks the ECM so you can do programing with any tool. So it's no big deal other than someone trying to make something out of nothing.
So if you follow the directions and return the ECM to stock how is anyone going to know anything different? If HD gets an ECM that has something other than stock code it in they can and DO void warranty's, that was just the reason HD asked us to work with Delphi to create the code to mark the ECM for in the first place.
