Changing rim width to 3"
« on: March 26, 2013, 09:58:44 PM »

I'm thinking about changing the Agitators rims.  Does anyone know if there is a real downside to changing from a 3.5 width to a 3?

Depends on what tire you plan to run.  The wheel and tire work as a unit, and they must be looked at that way.  Check the specs for the tire you plan to use and see what width rim it was designed for.  And anytime you change tires and rims, make certain you maintain the load rating of the stock setup.
