2012.5 Mid Year CVO
« on: October 30, 2011, 05:35:25 PM »

Anyone heard of one this year? If so when do the usually announce them? The 2010.5 still haunts me for not buying it and really don't recall how I got so behind the curve on those mid years? For the mid year owners when did it first reveal itself and when did delveries start?

Thanks hope everyone is doing well

When I worked at the KC plant they would do the first prototype/line tests in October, the second line tests in November/December and production would start in January or February.

If there's going to be a mid-year release, it will be revealed at the January show.  They typically become available a short time after the announcement.  For CVO's 2010 was the first year they did a mid-year.  If it makes them money, they'll do it again.   That's why the SEUC has been in the line for 7 consecutive years, it sells and it's their cash cow.  I think the SESG will also be one that will have a longer run than most, again, because it sells, and from what I've been told, the Street Glide is Harley's number one selling bike.  Remember the MoCo is a genius at marketing.

Yes, they are that first and foremost! The SEUC may be the Cadillac... but the SESG is the Porsche 911, Chevy Corvette and Nissan GTR all rolled into one.. with all the creature comforts of a BMW or Mercedes!  :orange: :2vrolijk_21:
