That is the nicest color combo in the lineup this year. Just beautiful!

Thanks Pete.  Once you get all healed up and rehabilitated, we'll take the SERGUs out for a run next spring.   ;)

Thanks for the well wishes fellow CVOers. I'm feeling better everyday.  This time I really can't go as crazy as I did with the 05 Cherry.  Especially the motor work...waaaay over the top.  So I've got a few ideas (and a budget too!). I learned a lot from my last CVO project...if i had half a brain i would do just minor tweaks because as it sits, it's a beautiful bike. I just get in my mind "if I was on the CVO design team this is what I would have done" and take it from there. What the heck do I know? I wondered what were they thinking with the skulls on this year's CVO Roadglide, but they're among the most popular models. I guess that minor item didn't detract enough from an otherwise gorgeous bike to slow sales...and some probably even like it. Anyway, l will keep you guys posted on how it's coming along.

Enjoy the holiday season everyone.  Don, we've got to meet...it's been too long. Mrs. We, I won't forget meeting you and the Mr. in the DC area years ago. We need a reunion...perhaps next riding season when im rolling...ditto for you Fired00d...especially since I'm back in VA. Though I haven't posted much, I visited a lot after my surgery. Reading everyone's posts, about so many positive things I believed "willed" me to better health and spirit. The people on this site are phenomenal. Glad to be part of it.  PJ
Welcome back... we'll have to hook up for sure. :2vrolijk_21:

Congrats on the new bike. You picked an awesome color.  ;) Enjoy.

It's interesting to hear how so many of us prefer the ride/handling of the sharknose over the batwing. Each time I ride this bike it reinforces my decision to switch.  :)

The good news, and the bad news....we still are, and always will be Harleys best kept secret and a minority.  The challege with that is add on's and accessories.  A lot more batwing Ultras & Street Glides out there than Road Glides which means the accessories will always be tilted in that direction.  As an example, I would love to see those black LED headlamps made for a Roadglide!

JW Speaker is the OE for Mother Harley's branded LED headlight.   That light is the 7" round light for Road King, E-Gide, etc.   Not for Road Glide though.  Different light housing entirely.

Thanks Taz, but I'm fairly sure Twolanes right! I think the RG light is almost an oblong shape because I tried to replace them on my 2007 with a 7" lamp and they wouldn't fit.  By the way, I have a good friend with a tag tasman and his wife taswoman.  I bought him a custom engraved Tasmanian Devil derby cover for his ultra limited and it turned out great.  Some guy in Colorado did the work.

I'm with you RIO.  Every time I goto one of the dealers in my area, I ask them about LED's for the RG.  They just say "Not available".  Hope chromeaphobe is right about RG LED's coming in February.  IM show in coming here in January.  Will need to get on the HD reps.  Maybe I can get some confirmation.  Seen how LED's look and work on other H-D's and it is amazing the difference, even over the HID's.  I do AVL for special events in this area and LED's are far whiter, cooler and last longer that any filament or CA lighting.
