Very Cool, we need a video link to watch and hear this run.. Does it have that patoto-potato sound ?
I’ve never run mine, but when I bought this one (around ’92) I listened to the demo fired up and running. This machine needs more flywheel to potato with any authority; although the circuit breaker is adjustable, just like the original, along with the idle speed and mixture.
It runs on model airplane fuel mix; 60/40 I think. The generator is the fuel tank which has a built in, gear driven fuel pump.
A set of long straight pipes were offered after I purchased this one, and later on someone built a chassis for the thing…very cool stuff. There is a small thumbnail of it on the Past Projects page of the Replica Engine web site.
The first link is for the outfit that built the engine, the next is to a web site with a video of a running knuck engine.
