Not really.  Just have to be careful not to damage the ABS sensor.  That's more of a hazard during reassembly than disassembly though.  Just make sure you get the spacer/sensor back in place correctly and don't crimp a wire.

Eyeball it all carefully before disassembly then watch what you're doing during reassembly.  Not really anything to be afraid of.

Sorry for the slow response and thanks for the info Twolane... When I saw them using a laptop to swap out the brake switch, it made me wonder. And, I'm assuming you can't dis-connect the sensor.

    MikeH, You can disconnect the sensor behind the right side cover but you can just let it hang down after
you remove the axle. It shouldn't be in the way.    axil
