Anybody tried both the C & C and Corbin solos?
« on: September 12, 2012, 06:05:44 AM »

I'm going to order a new seat and pillion today and have it down to these two.  I have had a couple Corbin Classic solos on other bikes and liked the seat.  I never tried a C & C, but almost all of what I have read is good.  Has anybody had the solo seats from both and how would you compare the two?  Thanks.

I immediately purchased the Corbin heated solo saddle for my 2012 SESG and love it. I can't speak to the C & C seat though.

I have tried them both. The C&C is a little stiff for me as is the thinner Corbin... The thicker Corbin is just right for my old cranky body..

The C&C are great seats, I have used them on Sporties and a Deuce. Can't beat the look.

I have had them both. The C&C was fine for local rides, but on all day rides the Corbin was more comfortable for me. The C&C is softer which may be the reason the all day support was not as good...just guessing....

I had a Corbin solo with oval backrest on an '09 Street Glide & loved it!  Took it off when I traded up.  Have never had a more comfortable saddle.  Corbin is known to be quite firm.  I really can't explain how it works but it just works, IMO!  No experience with the C & C but you won't go wrong with the Corbin.
