kiwihog,

there was reference to the Kury spacers moving the boards forward as well as outboard... can you clarify?...

I opted for the Harley goodies 1" ones.. as I dont see the 1/4" making that much of a difference in bank angle as compared to the 3/4"...

On my 08 Street Glide I used to drag hte boards easily... neveer had that issue with the new (09-up) Chassis.

If you check out the pics I posted you can just see the brackets used kind of "L" shaped with a solid single mount on one end and a pivot double fitting on the original mount end floorboards still pivot and I havnt come close to scaping them on the road with the forward movement I can now rest my heels comfortably on the board and my toes on the hiway pegs

If I'm not mistaken, the "regular" '08 Street Glide was lowered an inch, front and rear.  Actually, the Street Glide was born from a pornographic asexual joining of the '04 and '05 SEEG.  The SG was born in '06 after a long and complicated pregnancy.  Before free contaceptives... I have the film to prove it... ::) :huepfenlol2:

This is the way I went
Rumble collection
Insert #51510-09
Insert #51502-09
Pans #50357-04
Pan mount to frame #53070-00A
You will also need service parts that are not included
Pivot pins 4 needed #50933-86
Ball 2 needed #8860
Spring 2 needed #33085-74
The rumble collection is the exact match riders foot boards. Then take your pegs and make them highway pegs good luck

Just something to be aware of guys...if your bike is lowered, moving the boards out too much can cause some serious issues going through the twisties, as in the floorboard brackets dragging instead of the underside of the floorboards themselves, which fold up a bit so it's not a problem.  The floorboard brackets will lever the rear wheel off the pavement...that's happened to one member here already.  The Kury spacers are 3/4" and they don't seem to cause problems, but when you start getting further out than that, it might be a good idea to ensure hard, unforgiving parts won't hit the pavement before the floorboards themselves.  There's a reason those front floorboards fold up under slight pressure.

If you've got a bike with full height suspension, front and rear, you can probably get away with 1" spacers  :nixweiss:, but if you've got a SESG, SEEG, or SERGC with the 1" lower rear (SEEG is lower front and rear), I'd be checking clearances out before going to a 1".  I'd be very apprehensive with anything over 1", regardless of bike model.
Thanks a lot for the info, make sense I went with ¾ spacer.
