I have a 11.5 blue ultra cvo that i love but the hammock seat sucks, to soft. I know it seems like everyone else loves them but i rode to sturgis & it bout killed me. I had it changed out for a Mustang at the Harley trade show in Rapid City & i love it, was much more comfy on the ride home. I bought the heated seat & it was not cheap but my ass felt much better on the long ride home. Just my opinion. . . . .

Nope. I wouldn't trade my Corbin SoloTour for all the tea in China. I have ridden many days in the Corbin... yeah, it seems "firm" at first - but you can literally RIDE ALL DAY on a Corbin, and not have to shift around, and NOT be sore at the end of a 500-mile day.

I have always used the stock seat. I travel a lot of miles on my bike. When on longer trips lasting more than a couple of days (I have been known to be on the road for a month at a time) I use an AirHawk. It works great and is only $125/$150?? A lot less that $400/$500 for a new seat. My brother is in the air compressor business and he told me that Corbin had some issues with air bubbles in the foam padding in some of their seats which when filled leave a hard spot, but I have no personal knowledge. Heard that Mustang seats were great too but have never needed to spend any $$$ on replacing the stock seat. I have in the last year added a detatchable back rest for those long rides too.
