@bikerboy52: it's definitely not the fuel pump. The sound is higher (kind of an electronic buzzing - you often hear a similar sound when you're close to a power transformer), not as loud, and it stays as long as the lights are on. My eyesight is decreasing, but I'm hearing each and every sound my bike does, no matter how loud or quiet 
Obviously I don't hear it when driving - I would be just concerned if it's not "normal" and could lead to any issues if I don't fix it.

I hear the same thing.  Never really thought twice about it.

Thanks - seems to be normal then. I'll just ignore it - fortunately the pipes are louder than the buzzing sound

Looks real good    How do you like the look and function?  I think it is a big improvement over the original headlamp on our bikes.

I agree totally, like the look but wasn't sure at first, went with the black for a lil contrast.
