I'm looking for front suspension suggestions from those of you out there that are running the Legend Air Suspension. Any feedback on likes/dislikes of those systems would be appreciated.
Basically, there are two choices, IMO: Traxxion Dynamics AK-20 cartridges, or Progressive Monotubes (a gas filled cartridge). If you do a search on this site for either of those, you'll get a lot of information.
I have run the Legends and Traxxion Dynamics on two bikes...an '06 SEUC, and now a '11 SERGU. I had the Traxxion Dynamics fork cartridges on a '06 SEVROD as well. I love 'em, and again, IMO, they have no equal.
It's really about how much you're willing to spend, and whether you want the very best, or very good. Either is a vast improvement over the stock front suspension.
For me, with limited financial resources, I choose to have the best suspension that fills my needs. Others in the same situation, might choose to put their money in the motor to create more HP/TQ. I'd rather have a bike that handles as well as it can over one that gets from point A to point B quicker, in a straight line. But that's just me...in my perfect world, I'd do both.
