Corbin Dual Tour

Do all Corbin Dual Tours accept the corbin oval backrests or do you have to have a backrest mount put in it like a solo seat?

The oval backrest slides directly into the dual tour seat pocket (already in the seat).  I have had a dual tour on an 05 and now a dual tour on my 10 and the same oval backrest has fit both seats.

I love the rider's portion and backrest, my daughter hates the rear as it is too hard for her and most women.

Thanks for the info, my wife actually didn't complain about the passenger seat on my 12 FLHXSE3 so hopefully she will love this one.  If not I will have to leave her at home.

No backrest mount needed with the Dual Tourer or the solo seats.....the mount is built in to the seat. :2vrolijk_21:

Be a little careful here.  They have some dual tour models that are specified as being for bikes with tour paks.  With that specification the saddles don't have the mounting location for a passenger backrest.  This seemed a bit inconsistently applied across the various models they offer when I ran in to the problem a few years ago.  So it's worth asking them the specific question if it might present as a problem to your model.

Since he made reference/comparison to a backrest mount in a Corbin solo seat and no mention of a passenger backrest, I could only assume he was referring to the rider's backrest. :nixweiss:

Didn't know absolutely if he was considering one or both.  It's easy to speak generically.  Especially when the specifics of a product aren't yet familiar to someone.  So it seemed prudent to just mention the possibility.  If the gentleman has no need for the information there's no harm.  If it might prove helpful he was potentially benefited.  No loss either way.

It is for the driver as i ordered the seat for a tour pak.  Got a good deal on a 5 mile old one and wanted to make sure everything would be good to go.
