se 110" kit on a 88" stroke
« on: March 25, 2012, 10:51:33 PM »

anybody ever bolt a 110 kit to an 88 flywheel and machine the case the way I see it is that this makes a 107 and a square engine but harley doesent seem to have this configuration I no I have seen this setup with s&s and other manufacturers just wondering if any one has done it with the screamin eagle kit we already have the kit and the 88 flywheels but dont no what hurdles we may be faced with to me mathematically speaking a guy should only have to be concerned with the compression ratio as the loss in stroke may cause a loss in compression

Displacement would be 100 and Wiseco makes pistons for this.
Not a recommendation to do it.
If I was case boring I would go bigger like an all bore 107 4.125"
Not a recommendation to do that either.

thanks man couldnt find wiseco part number for this but did find listing i seemed to think it was a 107 but you probably rite i have always liked a square engine thats why i liked this route 4" bore 4" stroke seems like a good setup to me and then no cost for having to upgrade the crank

Built a 4 X 4 for a client in western Michigan. S&S cylinders.
Used a Wood 400 cam, and a good head.
His dyno sheets he sent us, showed great power from bottom to top. :2vrolijk_21:
