Yes, the dealer delivered my SEUC with the paint issues, but they've ben working closely with me to resolve them.  Been their customer since the early '80s and expected nothing less...yes, they've met all my expectations so I can't really knock the dealers, but the MOCO is coming on target.

If it left the factory with paint issues their QC must be going down hill.

Don't want to hijack this thread but can the front fender on a cvo be removed without removing front wheel?

Since I had all winter to go over my skunk I found that the front wheel weights were applied across a curved edge so only the outer edge of the weight tape was making contact with the rim.  >:(
Needless to say it took very little force to peal them off. I picked up some strong two sided automotive tape, cleaned off the surfaces and reapplied the weights. They are good and tight now! The rear wheel weights are flat but the tape that is on them is quite flexible an that might add to the problem. I might take those off to and use the other tape if there have been a lot of problems.

I have a 2011.5 and lost my front weights 3 times, the first 2 dented the heck out of the fender (the second time was while I was waiting for the replacement fender), the third time I lucked out and didn't find any dents in the fender.  There is obviously a problem that is not going to get corrected - so to be safe, when I was on a trip to Sante Fe, the local HD shop replaced the weights and suggested adding a strong adhesive on the weights (similar to racing bikes). The only problem they said is that who-ever has to change the tire next time is not going to be happy.

I also noticed that each time I lost the weights, the outside temp was 95 degrees or hotter - not sure if anyone else has noticed that.

I received a good run-around from my dealer, but kept on pushing and showing them the threads from this site, and HD came through to cover the new fender.
