The 120R is running!
« on: March 28, 2012, 08:51:16 PM »

Made a few pulls on the 120R today. The tune is a long ways from finished. Lots of knock sensor activity. Been pulling timing since the moment it was fired.
First impressions, its smoother than my 103 and its not even tuned.

58 SE TB, C XPipe, 2.25 Muffler cores. I will be testing a few different muffler cores. I hope to quiet it down with out killing it. Its rattling the walls right now.

Big deal!
I break 100 FT LB at the same RPM that YOU do, and that's with a little 103!! LOL
If we cut the chart off at 2500 RPM, I got ya!
Of course, after that.........the 120 takes off!
Nice start.
I'm assuming this is the motor you bought?
I'll see you next month, maybe we can run off down the road? 8)

This one is straight out of the crate. I would really like to see it with some smaller cams.

Well it was mine. I didn't get it in my frame quick enough and next thing you know it has a new home in an 08 CVO Ultra.
Cool Guy out of Oregon who was in serious need. We did a 30T pulley and an Aim VP 92 lock up on the stock clutch as well.
Very smooth and surprisingly well manored on the dyno. Test ride tomorrow!

I think your safe Mike. Oregon Dave is picking it up on the 10th.
