Thses bikes should not make a lot of noises.
They are, however oil/air cooled powerplants that without the noise insulator qualitys, of a water-jacketed engine, do display noise unlike them.
But if you really want to hear some noise, pull the hood off you car/truck, sit on the engine while someone drives you down the tarmac @ 60 mph.

Or if you wish to not hear noise at all, have a Meniere's Disease attack. You will not hear nothing at all, but a constant roaring in both ears.
