Sorry, but if I'm not mistaken you have a black/slate bike.  The extra performance of the red wires only works on red bikes, which we all know are already the best and fastest color.  I think it's similar to the painted part restrictions on CVO's; you have to prove you have a red bike to buy the red wires.  You folks with inferior color bikes will need to stick with the black, yellow, or orange wires.  I know it doesn't seem fair, but such is life.

Jerry ;)

Oh Geez,...just my luck,...I guess I'll have to repaint the bike red so it qualifies for red wires and goes faster....Ken (NGH) look out...with re-paint and red wires...I'm coming after you with your 54H cams and Drago's pipes you have...wanna race for titles... :)  HeHe

Must disagree.  Not all plug wires offer an improvement.  But the red ones... the red ones... the red ones make a huge difference (vroom vroom).  A red plug wire can pull a wheelie and a stoppie at the same time just laying on the ground all by by itself.  Stick a spark plug in it and it can achieve orbit.  It's all true.

Yeah - but just think how much more power if you got rid of those cheesy black booted wires and stepped up to ALL RED  :2vrolijk_21:

If you were really-really paying attention you would notice that tank is not there because why????

And since the tank is not there - all the rocker box bolt covers are removed to give a good polish to the box tops.
And since I waiting for new lifters, I may even pull the box tops off and look to see if the rockers are tap-tap-tapping away on the innards.

So take that and stuff it in your pipe and see if the O2 sensors reads it!

Oh, Gawd! This is nightmarish beyond belief...now I gotta run out and buy Red plug wires just to stay in the game!
Do you guys recommend the high performance Zircron Encrusted variety or the standard Quadratic Linear Electro-Zap for best performance?
I did read that the Three-Phase Asynchronous Diafire produces best dyno numbers....which red wires do you guys use?  You can tell me...I can keep a secret.

My tuner said DO NOT use the SE plugs. He showed me them side to side with the stock. I'm not a mechanic but you can see the better contact area on the stock plugs. Tuner states they are pure high expense markup with less result.

For what it is worth, I swapped to the heavy duty SE wires in an attemp to eliminate a bit of buzz in my radio. They did not make a difference. But they are purty... (Go orange or go home!)
