I'm not sure if this has been discussed, but thought it was worth mentioning.  I am not one to have or use a GPS but found a very nice option to having a handle bar mounted unit.  It requires having an iPhone, the iPod interface, and the map quest app from the app store ($FREE$).  You load your destination information into the map quest app, tap the "start navigation" button, connect the iPhone to the iPod interface.  Set the radio so that the iPod is the audio source, load your favorite playlist, and start riding.  The map quest application will cut in over your music and provide turn by turn directions right through the radio. 

Like I said this may have been discussed, but I searched and didn't find anything so thought I'd throw it out to the CVO community.  Enjoy.
