Friends may come, and Friends may go.
Friends may peter out, ya' know.
But I'll be your friend.....to the bitter end.....
Peter out, or peter in.  :huepfenlol2::huepfenlol2::huepfenlol2:

There endeth the lesson.  ;) Later--HUBBARD

Damn!  On top of being a very charming fellow, Hub's a poet too!

Life's journey is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out shouting Holy Chit......... What a Ride!

I think he's been wearing his purple and green shirt, and watching a little too much Barney lately!   :pineapple:

Naitram uses the tools and his knowledge to create this Social Network. Two parts; Network which is mainly Naitrams controlling role, and Social which is mainly the role of all members and controlled by a climate of civility (etiquette) and a boundary of a topic. In this Social case the main boundary of a topic is Harley Davidson CVO Motorcycles. The Climate is to be inclusive not exclusive and operated by a code of conduct.

Naitram doesn't exclude members who don't think like him, ride like him, and have his tastes and opinions. If he did there would only be one member. Same as for other members, understand that we are all different, and our behaviors are to be different here just the same as for other areas of life. Work, roads, school, restaurants, home, team sports, etc.

How you communicate with others reflects more on you than it does them.

Listen to what is being said not how it was said or spelled out.

Count to ten, walk away, let it drop.

Be civil.

Discuss issues in private with a PM. Don't air your dirty laundry.

Stay positive with a message, "I really prefer a single toned ruby paint theme" gets your message across better than "I hate your two toned blue and green, white fudged, front fairing, rant, rant"

Help out versus pointing out, such as "Here are some earlier posts regarding your topic" versus "that topic has been posted before, do a search".

But remember that this is a motorcycle forum. You might get a few bugs in your teeth, oil on your clothes, skin up your knees and bump your head. Maybe your feelings hurt! If so, pick yourself up, shake it off, get in the saddle, and get back on the road. It's not the mishap that measures your character, we all have mishaps, it's what you do after the mishap! It's as much mental as it is physical!

Just my opinion!

Amen to that.
