The "other" guy was an idiot for passing in a blind turn against a double yellow.  But the "hero" of the story hadn't been at all hesitant about using the wrong lane against a double yellow just before.

Just another reason why the Dragon is not on my list of favorites. Testosterone poisoning in action.

My niece would put it this way:

Girls go to college to get more knowledge,
those boys rode to Jupiter to get more stupider.

Variations of this rhyme are apparently now quite big in the seven year distaff set.... :nixweiss:

Can't blame that incident on the Dragon...that was ignorance on both parties.  It's bad enough we have to watch and expect the cars to do dumb things, but there's no excuse when it comes to a fellow biker who should know better.  I like the fast bikes as much as the next guy, but some riders you see on them should be issued tricycles to get around on.

HOLY! I sh1t my pants just watching the video! I think I would've turned my bike around and caught up to the other idiot in the opposite lane to tear him a new pooper. Twisties are hard enough at speed riding solo, but with a pack behind you with balls bigger than skills it's really tough. Close...

And give the guy driving the van some kudos. Look how far to the right he moves as the a-hole passes in the curve from behind him. Picture the van and the a-hole passing a little further to their left and we all know what the outcome would have been.

Right you are.  The Dragon itself is not the problem but the type of riders it attracts - and the sheet quantity of them.  Nothing succeeds like success as they say and the Dragon is just too successful imo.  Been there, done that many times.  There are other great roads much less traveled.
