I see that the Roadready bags are 100% waterproof.  For those of you that travel a lot, is that a product benefit that should be taken into consideration?  The Saddleman looks more functional and looks like it holds more but requires a rain protector.  Thoughts?

I'm pretty sure the Saddleman that I have is not waterproof.  What I did was just line it with a large trash bag and put my stuff in that and folded the top of the bag down the inside.

My  Saddleman BR1800 claimed to be water resistant not waterproof for the same is true for the 4100.  find a way to get a chance to cover the bag with if necessary. I'm not sure about the 4100.  See PDF below.

Best Bag I have ever owned.  Waterproof.  Has integrated straps that secure the bag using the saddlebag guards.  Highly recommend it!!

I'm planning a long trip this year and will need extra luggage space. Has anyone figured out a good solution that fits well on the back seat? Also, if you have pics, would love to see them. Thanks.
