Tuner
« on: May 25, 2012, 10:58:28 AM »

Saw a thread here a month or so ago about the Dynojet "Power Vision" Tuner.   It looked like a good solution to get a better tune and rich it up a little without having to deal with the dealer, dyno and $$$$$.

Bought it from Fuelmoto which loaded it with a custom tune to my bike configuration.   After connecting to my computer, installing the software and checking that out.  I proceeded to load the tune on my bike.   I am not kidding when I say in less than 10 minutes I had married the unit and installed the tune, and that includes removing-replacing the seat.

The bike now definitely runs different.  :bananarock:   It seems to have smoothed the power at lower RPM's, leveled the torque response and it even has a different sound to it.  ????

Not sure if it is running any cooler.

Only problem that I have encountered was that the 6th gear light stopped coming on.   This was quickly fixed after calling Jamie.  He requested that I send him the data via email and he sent me a revised tune the next day,  problem resolved.  Jamie was a great guy to talk with and I believe he is the extra value needed with the unit.

If you have are looking for a solution to get a tune without the hassle of dealerships.  I would recommend the power vision.   It has a lot of other functions besides the tunes,(to many to list) which I am looking forward to playing with.

A new tuner should be the first mod on any bike.  I couldn't believe how much better mine ran after installing my tuner.   :orange:

Definitely improves everything, even the sound.  Like ozarke mentioned, I thought my ears were playing tricks on my brain, too.  :zstupid:

Ride safe!
