Stock Baffles
« on: May 24, 2012, 04:47:27 PM »

I know I'm going to Fullsac's Stage 2 kit later this summer, but in the mean time would it be a bad idea to just knock the stock baffles and run the straight pipes?

Just one of those stupid questions that I did not see asked yet.

I wouldn't do that.   The motor needs some back pressure and I would think it would run way too rich.  What about all that racket?   I've never seen a question like this before  :nixweiss:

Roadrunnr, I would A. Leave them alone until you get your Fulsac upgrade, or B. Pull them out drill about 25 or 30 1/4" holes in each one. Reintall stock baffles and hold inplace with small bolt thu flange at end and make some noise. Who  knows you may like the way they sound. Leave fiberglass packing in.CAHDBIKER
