Wife and I are heading out in July for 5000 mile trip. The issue is that the passenger boards on my 05, FLHTSE2, are as low as they can be, and she still has issues with her knees after a few hundred miles. I would like to either (1) be able to lower the boards about 2" or even a little more, or (2) be able to add a set of pegs the would give her a second riding position.
I have looked at fabricating a drop down bracket, but it puts her boot too close to the right side muffler. Has anyone else had this issue, and come up with a solution?
Thanks

Why take the easy road?  I prefer to come
to a stop slidin' in sidways, hangin' on
for dear life, just so I am able to say;
"Man what a ride!"

Kuryakyn makes an adjustable peg kit.  Works along with the original boards and can be moved to different riding positoins.  Not so much a difference in lowered height but just different positions to rest differently forward, back and higher.

Had a set of these on the old 02 ECU. Wife loved them.
