There are several HD solutions, and a ton of after market.  I know most Harley dealers have demo ones you can try on your bike to see if you like them.  Windshields are very different for every individual.  Main thing you don't want is something that will interfere with your line of sight, and hopefully eliminate any buffeting for your height.

I went with the wind splitter by Harley, but again this may not be best for you.

I've got the 8" Windvest and love it.  They have a 10" also.  Great little family owned company in the Bay Area.  Looks much like Texas Fat Boy's, but darker!  :2vrolijk_21:

I like windvest the best. I have tried a bunch. I have a 9" on my sg.  8 on the Seeg. Best I've used.  :2vrolijk_21:

I'm 6.1 and use the clearview 8" with recurve and fork baffle. Works great for me!

decided to try the HD wind splitter and luckily, my dealer had one in stock. however, when i was handed it over the counter the parts guy stated some folks are having issues installing them where the holes dont line up with the fairing gromments too well. He said some folks have to dremel out a tiny piece of the hole on the wind shield for it to fit right.

So, I decided to pass...has anyone using the HD wind splitter had this issue..? He said it's not all of them but a few have had this happen...of course the one i get will do it.

Mine lined up perfectly, have had it off and on over the course of a couple of changes I have made to the bike.  Doesn't take but a minute to remove, and try the fit - I wouldn't complete the transaction and make them get me another one if it didn't.

I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but if you get a windshield that is the right size for YOU, and has a recurve on the top edge, you will be MUCH happier than buying one off the shelf that's a "one size fits all".  The recurve is like having a shield 2" taller, but you can still easily see over it.

I went to a 8inch Long ride shields with a recurve and flat top. I was good with the 6.5 inch recurve but I wanted to add comfort for my wife. It did the trick. I can still see over it without a problem.
The flat top is suppose to give better protection and comfort as compared to the normal shields. I believe it.

Oh, I had one made custom so I could have the etching done.

Interesting.  I bought a windsplitter from HD and had to return it after I just could not get it to line up no matter what I did.  I thought I was loosing my mind that it wouldn't line up.  Dealer didn't say anything about anyone having any problems with them.

Really sad to say but that seems to be the normal reply any time problems arise!  Anywhere not just HD.

I just ordered a 7" Freedom Shield and will let you know the results.

I'm 5'-7" and the folks at Freedom Shield said the 7" would work for me. They say it increases the air flow 2" higher. I thought about the 8" but I like to se over the shield.

We'll see. You can return it if it doesn't work. Just pay shipping back.
