Replace with stock lifters or aftermarket?

We had used OE H-D here, until the "C" lifters came to market.
We now use S&S almost exclusively.
Still use OE Harley lifters in Evo applications, though.

Forget the SE lifters they are junk and noisey.   If you can find them 99b lifters still work well from Harley.   Been using S&S for years to replace the stock lifters.   With Big inch motors you may consider using the travel limiters with the lifters.

Like all things on this site you will have opinions like the woods, new Tmans, black ops, and fueling.   The S&S are reasonable in price and work, imo no reason to pay out the nose the for some brands despite what the "propaganda" of the week is.
we`ve never had probs with SE lifters,(& we use alot of them) on milder builds.we use S&S w/limiters on all builds over .550 lift,no probs there either

Just got an email from Steve( Fullsac ) he recommends woods lifters. He has everything for the build, gaskets, orings, ect. Without causing to much more debate and Steve has never steered us in the wrong direction. I think I will go with what he suggest. Crossing my fingers.

Sorta like "one-stop-shopping" huh?
Set up a few bikes shopping with him, never was disappointed.
JMHO, of course!
