CVO Convertible GPS mount on Batwing
« on: July 26, 2012, 10:33:22 PM »

The parts are available and non-restricted. I think the windshield bag would have to go....and handy storage is at a premium in a '12 SG.....the cord would go through the same grommet as on the Convert and require a 'little half-round notch' on the top on the inner faring directly behind the windshield. I could have a 'touring' windshield with it mounted to it...and an 'around town' shorty windshield with the cord tucked into a windshield bag.

For resale....unhook the wires, put a dab of silicon on the grommet hole (which would pretty much be hidden under the windshield bag), and put on an original windshield.

Any thoughts on this?
