Harley "Rocking Horse", where to get a good one???
« on: July 22, 2012, 09:40:47 AM »

I'd like to get a Harley rocking horse for my grandson's first birthday.  This little guy is my first and probably only grandchild my wife and I will ever have.  I've seen "motorcycle" themed rockers on Walmart's site as well as quite a few on eBay.

I would spend up to a couple hundred for one that will last so he can keep it his life and hand it down again.  I want one that is safe, as one year old he's still a bit shaky.  I've seen them with mirrors, but they look too out in the face for when he leans forward etc.

So, can anyone steer me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

That is really cool  ;D. Wish I would have had one when I was younger.  :P

Jon, (Jonga on this forum) has one for sale.  It was made by an inmate at a California prison and is the most detailed of any I've ever seen.  His daughter is much to old for it now and he has it stored.  Definately worth a look.  I'll PM you his phone.

Bought my nephew one ( offical HD branded ) at Tilleys of Statesville for $150.00 + tax. It's not a horse, it's a rocking motorcycle.  Seems to be good quality. He loves it and rides the chit out of it. He's 14 months old and no crashes to date.  :2vrolijk_21:

Got my grand daughter a 'Lil Diva HD Rocker about 5 years ago.  She loved it...I'm sure my new grand daughter will love it also.

Thanks for the number, but my wife was not sold on this one.

I'll go to the HD site and see what they have there.

Thanks to the others for offering options.
