Just curious   -   how are the bikes secured while on the train?  Photo seems to show a bracket of some kind against the rear tire.  Don't they bounce around if just leaning on the kickstand?

A great narrative & pictures from places I'm not likely to ever see.  More please!!

When you check in for the train, they give you four little looped straps.  You fix them to your bike where you want, (you can see one on my rear crashbar, and one hanging at the back of the next bike to mine) and then the train guys come along, put that bar you see against the front of the front tyre, and the back of the back tyre, then tie them down with ratchet straps.

More?   :) I've got nearly 1000 pics - would take a while to post them!

There's a lot of Europe to see, Grayghost - plenty I've not seen yet either, and I've been here all my days.  Bit like the US in that respect, I guess!  :2vrolijk_21:
