Met a guy Sunday who had stopped at a HD Dealer concerned about loud whine while in 5th gear...talked to HD Dealer locally and they state there is a bullentin out on the whining. Seems 5th gear is cut differently than the balance. Anyone experiencing this? I hear a running change is planned by HD to improve tranny, I do not want to get an early bike if this is the case.

Any body have any news on this?

My '07 JESTER has 5th gear whine! Not that bad, but you can tell the cut on 5th gear is different than the other gears.
