TTS Mastertune shipments delayed
« on: July 27, 2012, 11:48:45 PM »

FYI to the Forum . . .

Just heard from Alice at Fullsac . . . She has been told by the folks at Mastertune to expect "several more weeks delay" for delivery of the new TTS Mastertune units.

They started shipping the new units last week. My order shipped on Friday.  They still do not do the can bus bikes. That will be a future firmware update.

Does it do anything more or better than the old version?? Or is it just for newer bikes?

Beta Test units started shipping late last week. These are for selected dealers to test the new unit and give us any feedback. Once we have that information or any corrections we need to make will will release units to the general public. The new unit will work the same as the old unit to start and features will be released as they are fully checked out. The units in dealers hands only have part of the features turned on and as we get feed back we will turn on more and more features. We hope this process to not take anymore than a few weeks but until we have feedback no set date for a full public release.

Steve,

Thank you for the clarification and update. AS you can tell form the comments on this forum there is quite a demand and support for the TTS Mastertune. I have a FullSac x pipe and cores sitting in my garage waiting for the TTS to arrive and can't wait for the the day when the install can take place.

We received our Beta TTS units yesterday and I was in the dyno room 1 hour later tuning a Stage II CVO SG.
The newer software would not run in my old trusty windows 98 PC in the dyno room but loaded easily into my new Windows 7 laptop.
All communications worked the first time on the first click. No resetting the com port, device manager or any other BS. Way too easy.
I dove straight into VTuning and noticed a quicker sampling rate shortening the time to get 30 samples and bright green cell.
Is this the new software or my new computer working faster Steve? When its time to load a new calibration into the ECM, we have a new programing
box to click on instead a dropdown menu. When the new programming "command" box opens, you have easy access to enable or disable the VSS, ACRs.
and cruise control and the pop up menus that slow you down when you need to go straight to downloading. And on that note Steve, if you could make
the default command "program ECM" or the last command given instead of "Get ECM info", it would save some extra clicks not having to reset it every time
you download during a tuning session. Awesome job Mr Cole! I like the new cables too, faster easier is always good.

And now for the plug.

Special thanks to Airline pilot Steve Rickert for being our first test dummy, letting me tear his bike apart before I even had the Beta units in my hand,
and riding with a Very Fullsac all the way to Sturgis! Thank you Steve Cole for delivering as promised! He was leaving on my bike if you hadn't!

First beta software tune up attached.
2010 CVO SG, Fullsac XPipe, 2.0 cores, Andrews 54s, Woods lifters, .030 head gasket, stock pushrods, stock AC
Is that a nice TQ curve or what?

The New software is NOT going to run on an old Windows 98 machine. That old stuff is dead and gone and no longer supported by any development tools today. The new software requires the system to be able to run the DOT NET 4 Windows operating software so your going to need to have a machine capable of doing so.

We require a minimum system of:

Windows XP sp3
1 Ghz processor
1 gig byte memory
USB port only supported

These specifications are a very basic machine by today's standards and should be capable of any Note book or Net book type machine as well as most PC's
