We received our Beta TTS units yesterday and I was in the dyno room 1 hour later tuning a Stage II CVO SG.
The newer software would not run in my old trusty windows 98 PC in the dyno room but loaded easily into my new Windows 7 laptop.
All communications worked the first time on the first click. No resetting the com port, device manager or any other BS. Way too easy.
I dove straight into VTuning and noticed a quicker sampling rate shortening the time to get 30 samples and bright green cell.
Is this the new software or my new computer working faster Steve? When its time to load a new calibration into the ECM, we have a new programing
box to click on instead a dropdown menu. When the new programming "command" box opens, you have easy access to enable or disable the VSS, ACRs.
and cruise control and the pop up menus that slow you down when you need to go straight to downloading. And on that note Steve, if you could make
the default command "program ECM" or the last command given instead of "Get ECM info", it would save some extra clicks not having to reset it every time
you download during a tuning session. Awesome job Mr Cole! I like the new cables too, faster easier is always good.
And now for the plug.
Special thanks to Airline pilot Steve Rickert for being our first test dummy, letting me tear his bike apart before I even had the Beta units in my hand,
and riding with a Very Fullsac all the way to Sturgis! Thank you Steve Cole for delivering as promised! He was leaving on my bike if you hadn't!
First beta software tune up attached.
