I went in to Harley today and asked for the top end gaskets and new rings for my motor. The parts guy fiddled around with his computer for a while and then diss appeared into the back room. When he returned he had a box with part number 17052-99C and it was labeled gasket kit, top end, 1450/1550/1680. I told the guy that my bike is a screamin eagle 110 1800cc and asked him if he was sure it was the rite gasket set. He assured me that he had given me the rite parts but I'm not so sure. Upon some research I found part number 17349-07 labeled Top end Gasket kit twin cam 110 OEM. Should I go back and ask for that or is there an updated part number? Also mite be interested if any one can suggest a better after market set with head gaskets. The reason for the rebuild is having crankshaft replaced due to being extremely out of balance .029. The bike did have the recall done with new heads and gaskets back in 2008 and no problems since. So I was planning on replacing with the same gaskets. Thanks in advance for any input.
