2013 SESG

Told by dealer that there is 2013 SESG.They just started getting 2013 bikes. They have 8 of them on the floor. No SE harleys. Dont want to start S----t but would bet on it.

I'd bet that your dealer is mistaken...that would mean 5 different CVO models this year.

What are the others? I was at the dealership as they were unloading the 2013 bikes,we asked the truck driver about the CVO SG he told us that there is one but it was ugly with a very large head light. Time will tell.          Older Guy

Big time.

The "new" CVO's this year are: Another Ultra Classic; Another Road Glide Custom; A Road King; A Softail based on the new "Breakout".  From reports, all four CVO models will have both their "regular" paint jobs in whatever colors/graphics, and a special "Anniversary" Paint Job with Badges to indicate it's a 110 year Anniversay Edition.  That much is pretty much confirmed.  No CVO SG.  If they did a SG, it would have the same size headlight as an Ultra Classic or any other Batwing bike.  Unless HD went ape chit and changed the fairing, which is about as likely as them not buying parts from China.

It's a little bit surprising that they do not have a CVO SG this year...they were big sellers.  But, it appears they substituted the Road King for it, which will also likely be a big hit.  One could wish that they have a 2013.5 CVO SG, but even those years they did a .5 bike, it was just another color of a model that was already a CVO for that year.

You can just about bet that anytime the dealer of choice lips are moving, they're full of chit.  But I'm not cynical...really...I promise... ::)

Got my chain jerked.Maybe. as for the anniversay bikes I had the silver and black 2003 ultra, if they are not numbered it wount be a collector bike. Need to be ####

Now that Harley calls them "anniversary" models every five years, they aren't anything special and they certainly aren't collector items, numbered or not.  Just one more way Harley is jerking people's chains and trying to imply extra value where none exists so they and their dealers can make an extra buck.

    He's talking about the '13 CVO RoadKing- basically a SESG without the fairing , but with the RK headlight...
