GM Tunnel of Love
« on: September 09, 2012, 01:48:13 PM »

Welcome to the GM tunnel of love in Detroit.
Even the public and the media haven't been allowed in this building.  Very few people know it exists.

Boy, I'd take that first '57 caddy and the '69 Corvair please sir.....WOW and I'm not even much of a GM person.  What a collection...they should'a sold some of those instead of borrowing the money from the g'vment.. :2vrolijk_21:  They would have money left over.... :bananarock:

My parents got a personalized VIP tour of the Heritage Center a few years back.  My dad was like a kid in a candy store.

That video was shot for the GM 100th anniversary.  GM Next was the theme back then.  A number of cars from there and Milford were sold at auction since this video.  Hendrick bought a few for his collection, that is more impressive that what you see in this video.  Camera's are allowed in the Heritage Center, not at Hendricks.

The Heritage Center is open to a number of people either through open houses or private events.  The Cadillac Biarritz and the white (65 I think) GTO (426 with the tri-power option) you really can't pick out in the video are a couple of my favorites.

Everyone can find a car/truck there they would love to have and they all look like new or better.  BTW, they all do run and get moved around regularly to various GM locations.
