Missing Flush-Mount Fuel Cap and LED Gauge
« on: October 08, 2012, 03:53:57 PM »

My Anniversary SERK was delivered to my house on September 1. It is #22. The bike has been at the dealer now for several days for some service issues but it just dawned on me that my bike does not have the flush-mount fuel cap and LED gauge as shown in the brochure and in several of the pics posted on this site. It has the standard fuel gauge and screw-on fuel filler cap.

I looked in the owner's manual and it clearly references the flush-mount cap and LED gauge on pages 54 and 55. Has anyone else taken delivery of their SERK and noticed that it doesn't have the flush-mount cap and LED gauge?

I think it was poor quality control at the factory. There may be 21 more bikes with the wrong fuel filler cap and gauge. It doesn't matter now. My dealer, who is golden,  has ordered the correct parts and will install them.

I think that I would be pointing that out to the dealer.

Yep, 2010 was the last year of the CVO only line where two people built your cvo from start to finish.  I toured the line in 09 when it was still that way.
