This past weekend I was monkying with the installation of the HD center stand on my SEUC.

I removed the left side header pipe. When I reinstalled the pipe it seems to be pretty close to the side cover.

I lossened everything up and tried to readjust, but didnt gain any clearence.

Stupid me, I didnt pay attention to how close the pipe was to the side cover before I took it apart.

My concern is that I melt the sidecover.

How much clearence do I need between teh hat shield and teh side cover?
