2011 SESG Dyno Results, Fullsac B pipe, 1.75" to 2" baffles, GPS
« on: September 30, 2012, 09:52:19 AM »

Went on a trip this summer and had some motor issues w the bike (backfiring, missing, power surges).  At this point, my bike had the X-pipe, TTS, and 1.75" baffles.  Stopped at dealer 1 who tried to sell me a SE Race Tuner without even checking the bike.  Next day we drove 350 miles to dealer 2 who told me both air intake manifolds were leaking and replaced the gaskets--fixed nothing.  At Sturgis, had  a Power Commander V installed and had the bike dynoed just to get it to run right.  Upon getting home, was determined to find out what was wrong with the bike.  Local dealer (have bought three new bikes from them)' told me if it was running ok, just to ride it.  talked to Doc in Florida and he referred me to Topeka HD.  between Doc and Steve from Fullsac, concluded that I wanted the TTS on the bike.

Dyno results--Fullsac B pipe, 1.75" baffles, Power Commander V--HP 94.58, Max Torque 110.61

Dyno results--Fullsac B pipe, 2.0" baffles, TTS--HP 100.09, Max Torque 117.55

Had the shop add the Roadtech 660 and NIM.  cool stuff but probably a separate thread.

And by the way, The proper diagnosis?  All 02 sensors had failed and were covered by warranty.  Power Commander "fixed"the problem since it bypasses the failed 02 sensors.

1.75" vs. 2.0" impressions?  Bike has a much deeper rumble at idle and lower RPM.  At highway speeds, a bit louder but not all that much different.  Recommend the 2" baffles.

Lincoln I rotated your dyno sheet so we wouldn't have to stand on our heads to see it. ;D
