Big Lew,

How does your passanger like the ride? I have the stock shocks on my 06 Ulta. My gal, weighs 130 and finds the ride jarring and harsh. Pot holes seem to be the worst. I am planning on ordering the Suspenson Technologies from HD Dude, but wanted to hear from a passangers perspective.

Thanks
Mark,
I was curious if you went with the suspension technology shocks?  If so, how does your bsr like the ride?

No, been leaning towards Ohlin's, but haven't plunged yet.

I upgraded to the progressive 940's from stock 12" "Leaking Air" shocks.

They were a great improvement over stock shocks. (Truly, I really got

tired of checking air pressure everyday.)

Fast forward to now, I have Ohlin's 2-2's and they ARE a big improvement over

the Progressive 940's.

Rear end is prefect now. Now comes the front end work!  :'( It never ends.

I have the Ohlins 159.  They are 13" with rebound adjustment and length adjustment.  With the length adjusted to it's shortest point they raise the back less than a 1/16, virtually unnoticeable. And I was very concerned about the ride height. The ride is far better than stock.  I have had Ohlins on my Ducatis and they transform the bike, I mean transform!  One thing I would consider, if you go between 2-up  and solo a lot and really want the settings perfect for both rides then you'll need to get comfortable with the idea of changing the preload.  Not a big deal but it could get tedious.  Good luck!
