Those high speed tickets are getting really spendy here 100mph is $1200 and loss of license.

WOW magoo,

That means Hubbard and Otis and I would work just to pay the fines!

How does Calif verify speed? Radar or what?
Can it be contested in court?

The one I got coming back from having work done a Freedom was by radar.  And on top of the fine for speeding the throw in a $20 court security fee.

I could care less about how fast I can go more now that I have experienced speeds in excess of 185mph.  I bought this bike to slow down and enjoy the view.  Anyways Im sure the bike will go at least 120mph as I have cruised 2 up at 90mph without even trying.  Lets just remind ourselves these bikes are not crotch rockets and probably could be very dangerous if pushing the envelope.  Who the hell am I kidding as soon as my bikes broken in I'll let you all know how fast it goes. ;D

Yep, I'm using them. See my signature below, and read all about them in this thread - REDSHIFT 575 CAMS & OTHER PRETTY PARTS There is also another company that has produced cams especially for the 103 motors and you can read about them in this thread - Freedom Cycles "Secret" FCC9 Cam Dyno

Had the '07 SE Ultra up to 100mph today. No wobble felt, but I was traveling straight line. In 6th gear, it turns 3500 RPM at 100 MPH.  At 80 MPH it turns 3000 RPM and at 70 it was turning about 2750 RPM. From these figures, it appears that in 6th gear that every 250 RPM accounts for 10 mph. If that is correct then at 120 mph , it should be turning about 4000 RPM, and 5000 RPM should give you about 140 mph. The tach on the '07 shows a redline at 5600 RPM, so theoretically, I guess if you could reach redline in 6th you would be going about 160+ mph. Maybe some of you math whizes could help out. Also, does anyone know what the rev limiter is set at on the '07 110's?

In sixth gear at 6000 rpm, you would be doing approximately 164 mph; at 5000 rpm approximately 137 mph.

Gee I figured it pretty close, I was just estimating it in my head. Maybe if I get real  brave I can test it out and see what she will do. With no wind today, 100 mph felt very comfortable. Wasn't scary at all. I've had a GSX-R1000 up to 175 and my vette up to 170+. Fastest on a Harley so far is 110 on my non-CVO RK (thats top end on my RK TC 88). I downloaded the navigation disk(west) on the GPS. Haven't had time yet to read all the instructions in the GPS owners manual. I wonder if the '07 HD GPS Navigation System shows avg speed, top speed, etc.??? Spedo only goes to 120.
