It's been priced at $750 for at least two years now, and it makes a decent home lift.

They didn't have them in stock when I ordered it, so I had to wait a while for it to come in. I drove there and picked mine up when it came in, but shipping is usually a couple hundred bucks. Fortunately, I was able to combine it with a work trip, so it was no big deal, only a couple hours to the Indianapolis area. I spent months researching lifts and finally decided on this one. I wanted a Handy, but just couldnt see spending twice the money for it. Maybe if I worked on bikes every day... but I can assure you, this one waaaay better than the cheapie at HF. I use it quite a bit, and I'm very happy with it. That's saying something, for someone who's as picky as me.

I started with the red Harbor Freight model.  Not very secure, a lot of sway when bike is up.  Gave it to a friend for his gold wing.  Would not recommend one at any price.
Bought a handy air lift with a rear drop for tire changes from a local dealer in Richmond CA to save the freight.  The complete hyd unit looks to be a copy of the handy, but, can't beat that price with all the included extras.

I use a condor chock and just walk the bike up with engine running and locks in place.  Then put a scissor jack under the frame and its steady as a rock.  Here's another thread on the Complete Hyd unit.  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=68237.0

Ok, question for those of you with the front wheel clamp instead of the wheel chock. How do you manage to keep the bike upright to be able to tighten up that front chock?

I open the clamp just a little wider than the tire and pull in. Shut the bike off in gear and get off, balance the bike by holding the left handlebar. Reach down with left hand and tighten the clamp.  I alway put the jack under the frame to increase steadiness.  I think I'm going to replace my front wheel clamp with a Bike Pro so I can just ride on and get off (this will be much easier since I keep my bike parked on the lift).
