Lots of rules hosed there.  Poor guy was more intent on watching and waving for the photographer than watching the road.  Then when he finally looked downrange again he saw the vette, looked straight at it and rode straight in to it.  Rider had a remarkably controlled landing and first bounce for the amount of energy that was suddenly transferred there. 

Glad he caught the vette in the fender rather than the door (for both of them) and glad they're all ok.  Dammit we have to watch where we're going.

 Glad you made it through and enjoyed our area Dirtdobber. We have some mighty fine roads in East TN and Western NC. Foothills parkway is a great short cut between the dragon and Townsend and Little River Road.

I live 10 minutes from the start of the Dragon and the accident photos linked to the thread are a good example of why I avoid it during high traffic times.

We stayed in Townsend, we rode the foot hills parkway and several others. We left the hotel around 8 am and got back to our hotel around 6:30pm.
In fact while we were on the Foot hills parkway there was some severe fog. My cousin and I passed each other and never knew it until we got home. LOL
