Since I last posted on this topic, I went with a stage IV Race kit, (not the stage IV Street kit) in my 103, and with the whole new from the cases up kit, I found the Power Duals and the Hi-Output to be great for the build, highest numbers from any 103 they have ever built or even dynoed. What didn't work at the flow levels required, was the SE Ventilator that was a few months old w/K&N airfilter. I ended up with the SE Heavy Breather to better handle the needs of the modified 58mm SE throttlebody, 2+" intake valves in the SE CNC heads, high compression w/forged pistons added to the kit. The Power Duals and Hi-Output's are unmodified and after the AC change the tune ended up with 117.2hp and 110.7tq.
Right after the break-in was done, the tune got done at HDHD in Meridian, Idaho. Off we went to Sturgis for a few days at the rally and had a great trip! I have one very strong bagger that hauled me and a full load in the bags as well as the back seat w/Sissy bar monster bag, sleeping bag, and part of the 10 man tent. And it was so kool to discover all the extra power while on that trip, and I now have explored the whole range of the power-band in all 6 gears and short of a 120R and a Supercharged 110, my 103 is 3rd on the all time list of motors they have built. There are few things more fun to me then running a bagger to parts unknown and the power to get "gone"!!!!
