Schuberth Helmet Headset Sound Improvement
« on: October 21, 2012, 01:19:22 AM »

Just installed the Cardo headset into my Schuberth helmet.  At times it sounds OK, but today it sounded very tinny and over modulating.  Is there an adjustment that can improve the sound quality?  The sound was a little better listening to XM than it was listening to the MP3 music.  If it can't be adjusted, is there a way to improve the music from the computer and then transfer it to the Zumo?  Or does someone make better speakers for this headset?

Cardo works great for communications, very marginal for music. Go online and verify you have latest download/software but sound quality on mine never was great and we now use it for talking only.

I also use the scala G4 to talk with my wife behind me and we often have sound problem, once, her microphone had stopped working for one day then the day after it worked again. My system and software are updated but there is no improvement and sometimes it stops working for a second and then works again.
Next time I'll go with the Senna.

This is crazy. Sometimes I pair  the Zumo and Cardo and the xm sounds pretty good. The next time it over modulates and sounds tinny. What's up?
