I put a couple sets of the hinges on and one set of the latches on for my self and a friends. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures. You will have to drill out the rivets on the hinges. It's not very easy to drill out the lower rivets on the lid and hold the weather strip down so the drill bit doesn't damage it. I use a 90 degree die grinder with a 2 inch 3M green grinding disc to grind the heads off of the lower rivets on the lid, all of the other rivets I drill out from the inside. You get an alignment jig to drill holes in the lid for the rear latch. The front latch is held on by the lock cylinder. Its not very hard to install the latches or hinges, just take your time. It does helps if you have an extra set of hands but I've done a few sets by myself. Hopefully this helps.Bill
After reading this, I am very glad I was out of town and took the easy way and had the dealer install them. I did not realize the scope of the install. Thanks for the background information. After living with the OEM's on my 2011.5, my question is why didn't I upgrade?
