I just bought the Kuryakyn Panacea kit with LED tail light and LED rear turn signals, I also bought the front LED Kuryakyn turn  turn signals, the salesman at M&M told me that the kit comes with a load equalizer and that would be all I needed but the instructions say that you need a load equalizer for every pair of turn LED signals?  Also I bought the Ride Time Technology tour pack kit which makes the side lights on the tour pack and tour pack bar turn signals as well.  Will this require an additional load equalizer? I have a 2013 SE Ultra Anniversary, has anyone out there installed these items and if so is there anything I need to beware of?  I am a registered electrician so I hoping to do all this myself.

Thanks in advance

I have had the Panacea tail light and rear turn signals for several years.  After a couple years I added the front turn signals and yes I had to install a second load equalizer.  The newer load equalizers have plugs that enably you to connect them together.

Not sure about the Ride Time component.  Suggest you install the Panacea components and test them for proper function.  Then install the Ride Time and see what happens.  It won't 'blow up.'  All the load equalizer does is apply sufficient draw on the circuit so the turn signal module does not think you have a burned out bulb and flash very rapidly.

And I found the tech support at Kuryakyn to be very helpful.  Give them a call if you have any problems.

I've installed the Ride Time harness to my tourpak and it did not require (or has one built in) a load equalizer.

I went with the Custom Dynamics LED turn signals front and back and only had to wire in (1) load equalizer.

Maybe the Panacea's have a different draw.  8)

Same with the Badlands LED's.  Only one equalizer.

Saintnick06,

I have the RideTime unit as well and hope to have the Panacea system under the tree for Christmas. Please keep us up to date on what you wind up having to use.
