Shark lawyers have a lot to do with that.....help a dying person and get sued for it....plus the fact of hoping for a viral YouTube video....

This is exactly true.
 I helped a woman that was in a car wreck one time, about 20 years ago. She was thrown from the car and stuck under it in a mud hole. I held her head up out of the mud and water so she would not drown. The rescue people got there about 10 minutes later and said "you saved her life". The woman was on the stretcher going into the ambulance and was hollering she wanted to have my name and info so she could sue me. The paramedics told her if she did not shut up, they would put her back.  Sure makes you think twice about helping someone. Sad but true.

Ray,
    That unfortunately has become too true these days.  The question becomes a persons character.  You help to save their life, but are you liable to be sued?  What has this world come to?  That women (once healed) should kiss your nuggets on Main street and give you a hour to draw a crowd.

Sure she didn't think you where the one in the other car if there was one...maybe she was not thinking straight? Naa prolly not....sued for saving a life... Great..that's as bad as being sued by a home invader for shooting them or them getting cut on the glass they broke getting in....it has happened believe it or not.....more decline of western civil....

i guess if we keep electing lawyers for lawmakers........ well maybe you have heard an old saying its kinda like letting the fox watch the henhouse it just aint going to turn out good,somebody gonna lose and someone else is going to get fat. i guess todays humorus editorial is actually sad. :(
