Trailer Set Up
« on: January 18, 2013, 12:32:32 PM »

I've just put an order in for a Legend 19' Deluxe V Nose.  That gives me 16' + 3' in the wedge.  I'm looking for any ideas of layouts for 3 dressers in the trailer.

You probably have ordered the best trailer made.  Don't have mine any more but I put one in the v nose and then staggered the other 2 bikes.  Used Condor wheel chocks.  I have pictures somehwere on this site of 3 bikes in the trailer.  Think mine was 14' with a 3' v nose.

Do you think I could get 4 bikes in it?

If it's not another bagger, and it's 8 ft wide, maybe!

I got a 14' x 8' and blocked the V off for storage. Put 2 baggers staggered with inside bags removed. 19' would be a dream for 3 staggered baggers, with one all the way forward. 4 would be a squeeze, but not impossible.

7' wide and it would be 3 naggers and a softail.  We could always remove bags, TP's, ect. And put them in the suburban.

I still think it would a real stretch! 7 foot wide is tough on bagger's, with very little room to move
around. I would also worry about tongue weight with a bike all the way up in the "V".
Another question, what's the weight capacity of the trailer??

Just bringing up question!

Payload is 5000#.  GVWR is 7000#.  I think 3 bikes might be the max I would want to put in.

I guess if you have three best they be in the trailer where you can't hear them :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:
