Good for the young man. He will probably get a better job out of this anyway. Maybe the NRA will hire him.
I will remember them when I need parts.

So now all criminals know they can waltz into any AutoZone and rob them without fear. And all AutoZone employees know that criminals know they are unarmed and that it is company policy to not resist and just surrender all items on demand. Sounds like an easy choice if your're a criminal. Should I rob the liquor store where the Korean owner is armed, or go to AutoZone? I might as well pick up some Mobil1, and spark plugs while I'm there too. Actually, that's the way to go. Have Auto Zone service your get away car, pick up stuff to go, and when you get to the front counter, rob them instead of paying them.

This is a stand up guy, if more stood up to these criminals they would start thinking it's not worth death. Auto Zone has lost my bussiness.

If you're on Facebook, I suggest supporting this boycott page:  https://www.facebook.com/BoycottAutozoneInSupportOfDevinMcclean

When criminals know in advance they'll encounter no resistance and can strike with impunity, it will embolden them.  This is a big step backward.  Devin should be rewarded, not fired.
